I have been playing cricket for over 35 years and have had a successful playing career. I have played Premier League cricket, as well as representative cricket for Sussex. I currently play for Henley CC having captained their 3rd XI, the highest ranked 3rd XI in the Thames Valley League during 2012/3 seasons, and helping the 4th XI win the 7b Division Championship in 2014.

I am an ECB level 2 qualified coach and have held a coaching qualification since 2001.

I have coached in a number of schools across the Henley and Maidenhead area, as well as junior squads for Henley CC and Maidenhead and Bray CC. I believe in making learning the game as fun as possible, but at the same time making it increasingly more challenging. Testing the players ability such that they surprise themselves with what they can do. If I can make a difference and help inspire just one young person to love this game as much as I do, then it will all be worth it.

What I love about coaching is that every session is different and as a coach I am also constantly learning, whether it be from fellow coaches or the variety of people I meet. If I get an opportunity to coach a player that later becomes a test player that would be fantastic.
